 Multilingual Names The XTNS system is based on UNICODE, which means that XTNS namespaces can be in virtually any language or character set. Now it is easy to create truly multilingual Domain Namespaces, in over 150 languages around the globe, as well as in numerous special character sets that give truly unlimited potential to the namespaces we can create. Resolution of XTNS namespaces occurs locally, first in the browser on your desktop, and then via local servers strategically placed around the globe. For this reason, XTNS namespaces are swift to respond, and extremely reliable to use. And because we can determine what locale an Internet user is in when they make a request for a given XTNS name, we can offer clients the option to route the request directly to language specific pages, or put this data to many other potential uses. Thus our technology will enable a company to set up one main home web page (say "home.xyzcorp") and no longer have to consider separate country by country URLs, knowing that a Japanese user will be routed to the Japanese xyzcorp site, the French user to the French version of the site, and so on, despite each typing in the same "address".
